I worked on Tuesday Morning for a couple years which eventually led to a position as Design Lead for their brand. Looking for an ownable visual style, we turned to watercolor illustrations for supplemental visuals. I learned to watercolor so I could create assets for us to use more quickly and cheaply than always hiring an illustrator. This enabled us to create a refreshed look for them that we extended across indoor signage, social media, and various brand communications.
I collaborated with another designer to create a package of indoor posters and window signage. I illustrated the assets for her to combine with type. Credit: Katherine Finn as co-designer.
